Questions about measurement results

My device gives readings that are too high

  • Check that you are using the correct cuff size. A cuff that is too small or narrow leads to false-high readings.
  • Always rest for five minutes before measuring.
  • Keep your wrist or upper arm at heart level. If the site where the measurement is taken is too low, this leads to false-high readings.
  • If you are still concerned, have your measurement device checked where you obtained it.
